dropped off jovan at e dad's place and off to cell's TGIF event! go over to "steal" some pointers from e experienced ones! lolz... well... hope tml TGIF event will be a blast! may GOD shows his works and wonders through us..
upon watching the testimony video and hearing wee fang's testimony on how she accepts Christ.. :) had many tots running through my head! Realized i am still as sensitive as before! i tear very easily and it kind of irritates me... lolz...
This phrase used to be my favourite line when someone complain to me abt their lives... "LIFE IS NEVER FAIR! WE JUZ HAVE TO ACCEPT!" To some extend i still agree with it! Some are born in places that are sheltered from natural disasters... some are born into proverty... none of us have choice... so is life fair?!!!
During the G12 conference... this tot hit me!
LIFE IS FAIR THROUGH THE EYES OF GOD!
Using a secular point of view, we human beings will always feel life is not fair! Y both pple work equally hard but onli one got promoted at work? Y he can drive a car while other can onli ride a bicycle (LOLZ... bad comparison...)?? However from the spiritual angle... Through the eyes of GOD, life is fair and equal for all!
why so?!
I strongly believe GOD wun give a task impossible for us to accomplish or overcome! It will appear difficult for us to handle... :) it may seem tat our live is nothing but hardship... but is thru such things that we can understand GOD's ways and the lessons we learnt will be deeply rooted into our lives! GOD is fair as HE understands each and another one of us and wat we are capable of as HE is our creator! HE is the FATHER who mould us in his image hence HE has every right to make choices for us for HIS interests are always for the best.
one of the things i learnt in year 2009 is... harder the lesson learnt, the more e brokeness will be and eventually will lead to higher committment to the LORD! GOD calls upon imperfect pple to create perfection in them!
Some pple say... once a vase is broken, no matter how carefully or patient we are in glueing back the pieces, the vase will nv be the same! I agree totally... coz when a person is broken and later he is restored in GOD's name, he is wun be the same as before as he is REBORN! who says broken-ness cannot be a beautiful thing! If living n hardship is smthing that constantly reminds me of GOD's ways, then is smthing i will glady accept! :) When someone is reborn... GOD gave him a new identity... a new purpose... that is y i found a name that i instantly fell in love with.
Renee... means REBORN!
it will be a name i would love to adopt when i get baptized! :) when wil tat be... i am still waiting for a sign... :)
